Dear Pacific Oaks Students:

We have arrived at the time of year when we award our endowed scholarships and gifts. If you are, or have been, enrolled in the 09-10 academic year and fall within the qualification parameters for awarding, we will be considering you as an applicant for these funds. Our awards will cover the entire academic year and so may help with present balances or provide additional funds for the coming semester. The scholarship monies will cover this year only and if you receive an award letter, you have the option to accept or to pass. Some awards may also require additional steps, but our Financial Aid office will walk every recipient through the process.

While no one is guaranteed an award, it is our hope that these scholarships will increase your ability not only to register if you haven’t, but also to pick up additional course units. This is our first step in developing a comprehensive scholarship process which will serve all Pacific Oaks students into the future. If you have any questions, or want to know if you qualified for a scholarship, please contact your financial aid counselor. Some awards have already been made, others will be coming in the next few days. Please spread the word not only to your currently enrolled colleagues, but also to any previously enrolled students who might be interested in returning to complete their education at Pacific Oaks. It’s a new day and we are here to serve.
